When you drive a p.o.s. with no muffler and badly tuned engine, and rev it up so loud that it shakes the walls of a concrete parking garage and causes car alarms to go off, even though you haven't even crossed 10 miles per hour...

...you just might be a COMPLETE ASSHOLE.

I dunno... I tend to think that maybe they can't afford to get a better pos, or keep that one up more.

It's annoying, but... far worse is the kids (and some no-so-kids) who buy the *expensive* sportcars, and then put out for the *noisy* mufflers that make it sound as if they're revving racecars, when they're really just getting up to 25 on the way by. (um, yeah, I've a teenager next door who has done just that. Still think his parents must be nuts (he lives at home, going to college, so they have *some* say), though I'll give him credit for being a better driver in the neighborhood now than he was a couple years ago when he started driving their old SAAB.)
