If the U.S. Army is willing to trust someone to have some common sense about right or wrong to give them a fucking gun!!!!! Then why is it that when someone does some other action of harm against another human, they might not have the "ability to judge right or wrong in the matter"?

Either she's guilty, or the army should publically admit they never should have put her into a combat situation in the first place because she can't judge right and wrong.

give me a break...

The US army won't ever say they put her in a combat situation at all. The Air Force is the only branch that has women in active combat roles.

The military's main concern at the grunts level is getting a warm, breathing body who can be trained. Military training is comprised of breaking down each tasks into steps so easy a drunk monkey could do it. Whether the person is able to philosophize or even recognize right from wrong is not germane to the decision to get them into uniform (though it may be a determining factor in getting them out of it).
