so last month, huge outrage story on the first lady taking a vacation in europe.
so many commentators (even generally non-partisan ones) argue why not vacation in america.
i point out in multiple places how disruptive it is for the first family to take a vacation in the states, given security disruptions, particularly at the peak of the tourism season here.
what do i see now? CNN just ran a 5 minute bit about how disruptive his current Martha's Vinyard vacation is being to the locals and to those trying to have their own vacation there.
i repeat: if they're going to rip on you and invent a controversy no matter what you do, then screw 'em and just do what you want.
