may this mean our cats are the last...
Oct. 27th, 2006 10:02 amA treatment for melanoma in dogs is proving to be astoundingly successful (helping 40% of them and completely removing the tumor in 12.5%, as of January when this story first broke). The Today show this morning said that it's being approved for more wide-scale use on dogs, and maybe the researchers could then try to find something similar for our cats who also suffer from the same malignancy...
...oh, and humans, too. ;-)

Update on Dan the Master Joyner
Oct. 27th, 2006 04:35 pmPTPGrad: Update on Dan, etc.:
I just got off the phone with Joe O again.
He was on this way to ID the body with Dan's son Glenn.
Glen Mehn has requested that a small memorial be held on Sunday morning at faire site. FAIRE MANAGEMENT HAS ALREADY APPROVED THIS.
The memorial will be on Sunday morning at 10 AM at Dan's booth.
This will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to, to share their thoughts on this sweet man.
Thank you.
