to tell me i hurt my foot this weekend.

a spot behind the middle toe next to the ball, probably hit some rough ground in one of the dances near the info booth.  with the trees gone, there's a lot of sand in some places and thicker real dirt in others making for very mixed footing...

The Secular Right:
Religious conservatives warn that a morality based on reason and observation is not sufficient, because men will not all agree on what reason and the evidence proves. But when have men ever agreed on religion? And without reason and evidence to settle the argument, they usually resort to force.
Its a good quote.

However, the majority of the rest of this chap's stuff is utterly wrong, including his incorrect definition of skepticism and the stereotyping assertion without proof, merely "just talk to a leftist", that all left-leaning folks are as irrational and dumb as the religious right. He also stereotypes his view of "the left", as if marxist socialists are indistinguishable from the FDR liberal or the civil rights liberal of the 60s.  Like most pundits, he effectively accuses one side of blind spots without noticing his own, or that his accusation reveals his own for the rest to see...
