Watching ST:TNG (Best of Both Worlds 1) on G4 (formerly TechTV), and what was supposed to be a commercial didn't seem to be. At first it looked like a commercial for a video game, as the color was sort of monochrome green (ala matrix, only a little more olive). Some young woman is being slowly lowered down the side of an old building with a firehose wrapped around her. about halfway down, she stops and stars screaming "no, no" as she's pulled back up by a different guy (bald, muscular, "dumb" looking, definite "bad guy" look).
almost back up to the original window, she falls through the hose that wraps around her ankles. the goon lowers her down slowly, then finally just lets it go and she crashes through a window and then...
...it suddenly switches to a "join the army" commercial.
no text, no naration, nothing. just the scene, brutal ending, and nothing else.
not exactly the finest in brand recognition...
