Sheesh, me & beer...
Jul. 2nd, 2003 07:55 pmSo far this season (or two) I've had strong connections to being one of the very first customers when it comes to beer.
The first was last month when I was the FIRST beer purchaser to buy from the nearby Yahoo food market the very night they got their license.
The second was today, at a new (large) bar/grille called Baileys (no official relation to the Irish liquor). It opened today @ 4pm, and our office (as a group, yes, we're crazy) was there by 4:30. I'm Beer Mug Club Member # 5. 23oz beers for the price of a pint, my mug on a hook there in the store at all times (except when in my hand), the works.
Beer only knows why...
