Now, I can't afford that luxury anymore.
Truth be told, NOBODY can. Its that simple. There is simply too much going on, too many decisions to be made in the next few years, that will directly affect the rest of your life that you simply can not afford to not care.

In some ways, I may be luckier than you by not being in a battleground state. Himself was recently in VA on business and was stunned at all the political ads on TV there.
We Californians are missing the most rancorous part of this whole process, since it is pretty much a foregone conclusion that we will go blue.
