I did it again...
Sep. 7th, 2004 11:31 pmAs with a wedding last year, I had to come up with a mix-set of music, this time 70s, this time for the MS Challenge Walk rest stops that Cyd (and on saturday, I) will be working at in order to help keep the walkers moving and groovin'.
And as soon as she said she wanted tunes, I thought "I don't nearly have enough non-prog 70s to make it worth it".
6 CDs later, I found I had to leave off: The Police, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Blue Oyster Cult, Chicago, Journey, Queen, and Eric Clapton, in order to include CSN, The Moody Blues, America, Seals and Croft, Yes, ELP, Jethro Tull, Led Zep, ELO, Wings, Peter Frampton, Billy Joel, Jeffersons Airplane and Starship, Supertramp, Meatloaf, Heart, Boston, Foreigner, Kansas, Styx, Abba, Fleetwood Mac, and Paul Simon.
I may end up making one or two more just to get those missing groups, 'cause that's still leaving off a lot...we do have 3 days worth of walking to support...
sheesh.
