From the results of annual Baptist Creation Science Fair for 2006...

The World's Fair:
2nd Place [middle school levels]: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"
Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets; biology shows that women were designed to carry un-born babies in their wombs and to feed born babies milk, making them the natural choice for child rearing; social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay; and exegetics shows that God created Eve as a companion for Adam, not as a co-worker.
well, it makes sense to me!

NOT

rewarding discrimination and prejudice in the best way possible - with the veneer of "science"...

i thought they discounted science.

oh, i guess it's okay in this case since it can be manipulated to support their theory. gotcha.

They do. Science is something different from what that child is doing.

Specifically, Science is NOT a process of a) taking a preconceived conclusion, and b) looking for things Real Scientists[tm] have said that can be interpreted to support that conclusion.

When females are born with a laundry basket on their hips, fertilized eggs in thier wombs, and working their asses off only to make less money simply for not having a penis, then I might believe this crap.

And since when the fuck did "companion" begin to mean "unequal" or "subordinate"?!

*wicked smile* That social sciences proof obviously explains how a female Spanish Literature major with minimal tech training was earning significantly more than a male with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. *smirk*

Actually, "myopic" is the first word that comes to mind when I re-read that summary of pseudo-science. :P

I'm not sure if I should laugh or feel sad. It does put up another mark against my faith in humanity, though

Hey y'all, don't get too upset with it, it's just parody! (which is why acroyear tagged it as humor, eh?)
