FINALLY!!!!!!
Dec. 11th, 2005 11:58 amHoward Shore's Complete Score for Lord of the Rings is being released!!!
Right now, its being released in 3 sets, one per movie, each containing 3 CDs (180 minutes of music) of all the music composed for the (extended cut of the) film, plus a dvd-audio of all 3 cds in one in 5.1 surround. Note: this is the complete version of all of the music recorded for the film, which means the cuts will be considerably different from the 2001 soundtrack (and in some cases, closer to the symphony versions, if you saw that).
The first (Fellowship) will be released THIS TUESDAY! no word on when the other two will come out. hopefully we won't have to wait a year...
