why i rarely shop for prezzies early

the hard part isn't always figuring out what to get some one...

the hard part, and one of the reasons i never get presents "early", is that the presents themselves always come to mind as soon as i see/talk to the person, meaning the whole conversation on my part is trying to "dodge" that topic which keeps popping back to the fore.

so in order to be able to actually TALK to people, i'd best not be keeping any secrets from them or else i will keep running out of things to talk about that don't involve the present i've selected/purchased...

or at least, that's my story, and i'm sticking to it.

[ed note:] I wonder if The Meaning of Liff had a word for that...

Happy Birthday Doctor Who

Doctor Who turns a big 41 today!

And many happy returns indeed given the new BBC Wales series coming next year, plus more Big Finish audios, and lots of new DVD releases with actors and writers providing commentary (some of them are actually pretty good for a change)!
