followup to "Rio Rancho" High School

The school's a fucking right-wing mess. They've already had two major "zero-tolerance" incidents in the past few years. The student & parents won the court case! The other zero-tolerance issue on knives in cars (that never left the car; it was complete accident where the kid drove his parents car to school, not knowing what was in it). They even almost had a restriction against "pink hair" get passed.

On the bright side, another google-found entry shows that they were building a new public library just around the corner from the school...hopefully that'll give the kids a place to read all their newly banned books and poems...

The right to question. The right to say, no, that's not how it should be. The right to say this war or that tax is wrong. The right to say my own decision to my body, my mind, my life, is not something that can be taken away.

The right to question is absolutely essential. As is the right to a straight answer.
