it was more a sarcastic-cynical, not a mad cynical (i don't always like the icon choices they have here). the context is that amazon.com's been getting patents on bluntly obvious and easy stuff that they shouldn't be getting if the PTO actually did their damn job right.

my thought when reading the article is, "so is this pilot going to GIVE UP FLYING after this?" i mean surviving 3 accidents/crashes/hold-ups or other near-fatal experience would be enough for me.

my other thought is, "don't these people do their research and not go up with a guy like that????"

If they try to patent it, then billy-boy will say that since using the windows of the copter is part of the escape that he deserves a cut and since that is an inegral portion of the MS Windows OS that it should be included in every computer (and the price).m
