so, faire...

...i've gathered so far in back-reading that Adventurers weekend was wet, and Oktoberfest weekend was insanely busy (per its usual if it is dry).

any other excitements?

Don't forget the idiots bitten by the snake they decided to snuggle with after finding it trying to hide.

Wet doesn't begin to describe the misery of that weekend. By the end of Sunday the mud was 6 to 8 inches deep in locations. The court gowns had to be dry cleaned, something done only in emergencies as its not in the budget.

Saturday of Oktoberfest weekend we decided to do the morning dance despite the truck ruts around the maypole. One twisted ankle is the miracle out of it. Sunday the 24,000 plus crowd had smoothed out the ruts.

Oh, yeah, and then there were the idiots who couldn't wait for traffic to move Saturday night and they took apart the fence.

the EMT's had six transports by closing on Sunday.
