not quite not old celebrations

Sunday, I turn not quite not old.

Sunday, I'll be on site after about 4pm, in danes, acting like stoopid tourist including drinking out of a plastic cup and all.  It is meet and right so to do to buy me a drink (at least 'til i say i've had enough) at any time you see me!  I ain't working.  I'll mostly be around the White Hart once I get in, unless a show beckons me to watch.

Monday concert reminder: IMT presents the Old Blind Dogs, in Rockville, MD.  Show starts EARLY - 7:30.  St. Mark Presbyterian Church.  I'll try to get there early but I have to figure out how Cyd's getting there first...

oh, and clarifying the statement:

it's "not quite not old".

not old is 37 (Palin's law of aging intellectual peasants)

so "not quite not old"
is "not quite 37"
is "-1 + 37"
is "36"

simple mathematics.

How old is "not quite old"???? *chuckle*

Happy birthday to my favorite hanky-dancer! *grin*

Ok, you caught me reading too fast for my own good. *heh*

This is not, however, simple mathematics. You had to know Palin's law of aging intellectual peasants, too, and i never heard of that.

So.... i'm 47.5; where does THAT place me on Palin's charts?

*grin* 36 is a *prime* age to be. Enjoy it fully, my friend!

geekspeek.

Michael Palin was the peasant in Monty Python and the Holy Grail who said "I'm 37, I'm not old" before going into the diatribe of institutionalized government vs. "strange women lying in ponds distributing swords".

from there, hacker-speak embelleshed the wording from "what Palin said in that movie" to "Palin's law of aging intellectual peasants". i've been a hacker for far too long...
