who the hell markets a radio station the way one markets groceries or laundry detergents?

I was quite disappointed to find my favorite radio station changed formatting

AGAIN

Then again they were classic rock when I moved here and I hope they'll change back again this time.

Well I guess you need to do some marketing when you take a decent radio station & create a crappy one to replace it. (sez she who is NOT impressed with anything she's heard on said "new format" station)

I already yanked it out of my preset stations. I can hold 12 FM and 6 AM stations, and since the last time they got wiped (dead battery, 2 weeks ago), I've only set 5 of them, and 3 of them are WTOP Mirrors and one is to a "blank" space (92.9) for me to use for my FM transmitter for XM and ipod.

You know, it has been so long since I've listened to it that I didn't realize that it had gone back to classic rock. I didn't realize that the change in programming to "The Globe" had already failed.
