The subject line was Amazon Music: Buy a CD, Get One Free
But it isn't what you might think.
"For a limited time, we're offering Buy One, Get One Free. Purchase any physical music product (CD, vinyl, or box set), and receive a free copy of our 10th Anniversary CD compilation, which collects some of the last 10 years' most popular artists."
In other words, buy a cd, we'll give you a sampler of stuff from RIAA artists that they are willing to let us give you in order to entice you to buy more crap from the current pop scene, stuff we're having trouble selling and we don't know why [and real people know it is because it sucks, simple as that].
