I have no idea what's worse...

waking up because I'm dreaming about work and writing code for the current project,

or

waking up because I'm dreaming about cheezey Air Supply songs.

oh yeah, I know.

BOTH.

and good morning to you, too...

It's cruel, but you mentioned that DAMN BAND, my brain started up the ear worm and I had to do it to you. You know your gonna watch this......

ah, by Mr. "Bat Out of Hell" and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" himself, Jim Steinman!

but no, that wasn't the one. it was worse:

"Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)"

with occasional cuts into "Even the nights are better".

Could be worse. Imagine how you would feel if you were dreaming of the Bee Gees, Donny & Marie, or the Captain & Tenille?

It would be like me dreaming of KISS, Ozzy Osborne, [insert any heavy metal band].

Hey, no wonder it sounded familiar! I love Meatloaf!

And now it's time for true confessions...

I can still sing every single word of that song (and several others by Air Supply).

They were my favorite band when I was a teenager. Thanks goodness I grew musical taste buds. ;-p

I just heard "All out of love" on the radio a couple of days ago, and thought, huh? a remake? The voice for the first verse didn't sound like Air Supply, but then the chorus came up, and it did sound Air Supply.

I think I needed more coffee.

Hmmm...more coffee...sounds good to me!
