We're in the 60s building in Pop Century.

Monday evening: MGM, Fantasmic (with the dinner at Mama Melrose)

Wednesday - Animal Kingdom Backstage Safari Tour, Animal Kingdom all day (it's open late for hotel guests), dinner @ BOMA.

Thursday - MK (opens early for guests), then (yes, i'm really going to do it), PARASAILING!  Then mini-golf in Fantasia Gardens, dinner @ Big River Grille (mmm, microbrew beer), and finally La Nouba

Friday - late Breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) with Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland (yeah, I like the odd characters), then Epcot 'til we drop.

some helpful info for MK: http://www.mouseplanet.com/potties/

They have other neat stuff on the site, but it's always nice to know where the cleanest loo's are. Specially being a Rennie.

Have fun kids. And don't forget to stop in Once Upon a Toy in DTD. You can make your own lightsaber. And they have Potato Head parts not found anywhere else on this planet. And I loooooves me some Lego Store.

Well, you two ought to be having a significantly better time than me...I'll be grading final exams. :(

Have a safe trip!

Tuesday - MK Keys to the Kingdom tour

I'm jealous. That tour is so phenomenal. You can take notes, even where they won't allow you to take pictures. And a good tour guide makes all the difference. (I know a couple of Disney Institute people; I'll be curious to find out if I know your guide.)

I should warn you that the thing you're probably looking forward to the most -- the Utilidors -- is probably not going to be the most interesting thing on the tour.

Because of how the whole resignation thing is going to work, we need to drive back Sunday evening and I need to go to work on Monday.

It sucks, yes. But it means I won't get my vacation chopped off by management.

As Soon As You Get This...

I don't know why I haven't replied to Cyd's post earlier BUT...in reading the comments...I have to make one major recommendation. Call Disney Dining (I think the number is 1-407-WDW-DINE) and book Rose & Crown at EPCOT at about 7pm for your Friday, May 18th dinner. Get there about 15-20 minutes before your reservation and check-in asking for a table on the outside patio facing the water. Have a long, leisurely dinner...and watch the very enjoyable "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" from there. We always do this at least once during our trips. This is not only the best nighttime entertainment show that WDW has to offer but it also embodies the original spirit of EPCOT. EPCOT is open late Friday night and usually clears out after Illuminations so you should have plenty of play time until midnight that night.

Plus, on Saturday (even though you didn't mention it) make sure to see Spectromagic at the MK at 9:00pm before Wishes at 10:00pm. If you get there "late" for the parade, go over near the Pecos Bill Cafe in Frontierland (end of the parade route), it's always the last area to fill with people and you can almost always find somewhere to sit.

And, as commented to Cyd's post, when at Pleasure Island spend as much time as you can in the Adventurer's Club. It's comedy-improv dinner theatre without the dinner! Many different "shows" in the various rooms and the library theatre leading up to the hilarious "Hoopla" closing show.

Have fun and congratulations!!! If you need anything else, let us know.

I totally understand. It's just the perfect place to view the nightly show without having to sit/stand for a long time.

Nonetheless, don't miss the show. It is fabulous!
