oh geeze, talk about ancient history

XM 80s on 8 is doing the original "Stars on 45 Medley".

Ok, as a 11 year old, I was easily fooled at the time.  I had no idea it wasn't sound-biting the real Beatles (among other things, like the Archies' Sugar Sugar that most people forgets opens the track).

Well, I feel better, as they followed that into one of the greatest songs EVER, much less the 80s - Fleetwood Mac's Gypsy (Stevie Nicks, with great production and guitar work from Buckingham including his best studio solo ever).

Hehe... well, worse yet, I was just listening to "Bras on 45"

Whaddayamean "ancient history"?!?!

That was only 26 years ago! Oh. damn. Now I feel old.

Wasn't there also a discofied classical music medley at about the same time?
