the trouble with knowing your history and a bit of culture...
...is that you constantly are debating between laughing and vomitting when you see the effects of those that don't.
Like the current "President's Day Sale" (remember one of those two Presidents is George "I beat the British's butts" Washington himself) radio ads from Springfield Toyota (regularly playing on WTOP). They decided they wanted this nice little fife-and-drum tune to play in the background. Nice and 18th century sounding and all that...
...except the tune they're playing is unmistakably "Rule Britainia, Britainia Rules The Waves".
