interesting discovery

Alan White, drummer for Yes, wears Utilikilts on stage.

(makes sense when you think about it in that he currently lives in Seattle, which is the Utilikilt home -- i drove past the store front several times while up there last year).

What is a Utilikilt?
I assume it is a kilt with extra.... pockets?
Or does it come with a Bat Belt?

see here. its a "box-pleat" kilt (meaning the pleats are symetrical from the center of the back of the kilt, rather than all in the same direction as the formal tartan does), made of denim or cotton in generally plain, workman's colors.

they're becoming increasingly popular in the states as an alternative to the formal tartan stuff. yes, they have pockets.
