oh those bastards (for marillion fans only)

After an entire tour of the UK, Western Europe, and about 1/3rd of America, playing only stuff since Hogarth became the lead singer in 1989, their final show of the tour (Quebec City) gets not one, not two, but five songs from the Fish era, among ten songs not played in any other city in the entirety of 2004.

Setlist:

Marbles (single-disc version)

Incommmunicado*+
Accidental Man*
One Fine Day*
A Legacy*
Holidays in Eden*
Hooks In You*

Kayleigh*+
Lavender*+
Afraid of Sunlight

Map of the World*
King

Sugar Mice+
Garden Party*+

(and Sugar Mice was only played *once* as part of a special shortened set in Cologne)

* == never played during any other 2004 show
+ == fish era track from before 1988

jerks.

mind you, I still really liked the setlist from our show...but geeze...

update: it was a joke on the website. they didn't play any of that at all...

"For Marillion fans only?"

Shouldn't that be on a filter of one?

by "our" show, do you mean you went? or just that was the setlist from the local show?

"our" show == the 9:30 club, DC, October 7th. And yes, I was there. I'll put up the report when i've had a chance to clean the photos.

nobody really liked "lavender" anyway... i still wish i could've seen the end of "man of a thousand faces" or "the great escape" live, but i was still very very happy with the show i saw anyways...
