movies this year?

I saw two in theaters.  That's it.  Tied a record that's happened two other times since I got married.  Those two?  The Disney animated pic of the year and the Pixar pic of the year.  Oddly, the exact same two categories of films one of those other two times.

I just made my need to see before the award season list and just about screamed. The closest in the Golden Globes categories that I am to complete is the animated feature category - Wall-E and Kung Fu Panda I've seen, Bolt still on the list.

Just saw Tropic Thunder on DVD and laughed my ass off. Loved when the panda got killed.

I am planning on doing what I did in 2008 and sitting through all of the best picture nominations in one day at AMC the Saturday before the Academy Awards. It was a lot of fun and they let you bring in outside food. Perhaps you two should join me this year.
