yet more in the crap you just can't make up department...

ex-cop Drew Peterson, who's 3rd wife was found murdered and 4th wife disappeared (both of whom were only half is age), and who's second wife claimed that he abused her, is apparently engaged again, to someone again less than half his age.

Now given that track record, who the hell would say yes to that?

For that matter, considering the 4th wife only disappeared and hasn't been found, isn't it indicitive that he's now unconcerned about her being found alive since they'd be married still?

In short, pure demonstration of assholeness to the highest.

Again, given that track record, who the hell would say yes to that?

good grief...

I need to listen to Bartok's Bluebeard again...

Well, as I recall, Henry the Eighth didn't have a problem finding new wives...

Maybe that's Drew's Role model.

Henry VIII had money. This guy can't possibly have any with the amount he keeps shelling to his lawyers...

Well, yeah, but Henry had three of his wives killed and everyone knew it.

Drew is presumably innocent... and that has to count for something.

"what would you do for a million dollars?"

and only 2 were killed (#2 and #5), and 5 effectively deserved it (by the standards of the time) - she really was having an affair and had several before becoming queen.

#3 died as a result of childbirth complications. 4 and 6 outlived him (barely), and #1 died a few years after the divorce.
