priorities...
"A Baby's Diary. Day 1: Still tired from the move..." -- Steven Wright.
first day sitting at home, but certainly not doing nothing. got lots of things to do, both online and off.
first priority online : getting my comics downloading again. they haven't actually killed my accounts at ex-work yet, but i don't wanna push my luck or test their patience.
first priority offline : mowing the lawn. i really should do it before it gets too hot outside.
second priority online : writing the resume. its only been 6 years since i had to do one, and it was easy to fit it all on one page back then.
second priority offline : the garage. lots of my stuff is in there, now blocking the stuff back from pennsic that we'll need for faire, and i don't really want the office library (a good $1k easy in java, c++, and other books) subjected to that humidity for long.
naturally, the two offline priorities involve the heat outside. ugh.
i blame Bush. i know, its almost too easy to these days, but I have to blame him. Darpa keeps getting nervous about paying its bills when there's a $1 billion a week chunk going to Iraq. Had they payed us when they first promised too, my company would have not had the cash flow problem that led to the terminations we've had this year...
