PZ on Seed's selection of Science-Bloggers in their appearant Liberal tendencies

Pharyngula: Uh-oh…this is going to backfire:

None of us were selected for our political views, and any liberal bias here is entirely a side-effect of the representation of conservative thought in America by a rather nasty know-nothing party of anti-science ignoramuses, which does tend to alienate people who favor science.

If anything, most of the bloggers are more true libertarian than liberal, and certainly they're all staunch secularists as far as religion's influence in government goes.

But one thing is sure: science depends on the facts that reality itself presents.

And as we all know, reality itself has a liberal bias.
