Here we go again...
AOL's IM people appear to have once again done their bi-annual "lets make a teensy-tiny protocol change" that blocks out 3rd party tools like GAIM and Trillian. Be prepared for upgrades to your non "AIM" tool soon.
appears to have been only temporary this time (my GAIM installations seem to work again, but only after I had logged in on real AIM on another machine), but keep an eye on your aim client's home page for updates.
